Council Meetings


The Council of the Town of Hanover meets in the Council Chambers located on the 2nd floor at the Civic Centre, 341 10th Street, Hanover.

Council Meetings are structured and formal in nature. The Committee of the Whole is responsible for making recommendations to Council on issues affecting the Town. Committee of the Whole Meetings provide a forum more amenable to extensive discussion.

Council and Committee of the Whole meetings are generally held at 7:00pm on the first and third Monday of each month. The council meeting schedule is posted on the website. Members of the public are invited to attend all regular Council and Committee of the Whole meetings.
