Hanover Announces New Economic Development Manager

Hanover – Town of Hanover CAO/Clerk, Brian Tocheri, today announced the completion of the recruitment process for a new Economic Development Manager for the municipality.  The position has been vacant since October when Savanna Myers accepted an economic development position with Grey County.

“We are very pleased and fortunate to have Ms. April Marshall join us.  Her experience, along with on-going professional development, will be an excellent fit for Hanover,” stated Dave Eccles, Chair of the Hanover Economic Development Committee.  “Her enthusiasm and track record of working with business and non-business groups and organizations came across very well during the interview process.” 

Ms. Marshall is currently working with the Township of Wellington North where she is the Tourism, Marketing & Promotion Manager.  Along with an Economic Development Certification from the Economic Development Association of Canada, Ms. Marshall has a diverse range of community development experience and skills and has been instrumental in delivering many innovative projects, programs and initiatives during her career.  She will commence her duties with Hanover on April 3, 2017.
