Hanover – Town of Hanover CAO/Clerk, Brian Tocheri, today announced the completion of the recruitment process for a new Fire Chief/Community Emergency Management Coordinator/Health and Safety Coordinator for the municipality. The recruitment process was initiated as Chief Ken Roseborough will be retiring June 30 after 25 years of service as Hanover’s Fire Chief and CEMC.
Mr. Dentinger held the position of Lieutenant with the Hanover Fire Department for 9 years and the past 5 years as Platoon Chief Training. He holds numerous NFPA certifications and is one of only 36 to hold Fire Officer 4 qualifications in Ontario. “We are very pleased and fortunate to have Mr. Jeff Dentinger as our new Fire Chief. Jeff brings 19 years of fire service experience along with an extensive resume of training and qualifications,” stated Tocheri.
Chief Roseborough added, “Mr. Dentinger’s passion and high standards for the fire service, impeccable track record and high regards from the department personnel make him an excellent choice for this position. I look forward to turning the Fire Chief duties over to Jeff.”

Mr. Dentinger will commence his duties with Hanover on June 5, 2017.
