In consideration of the Town of Hanover retrofitting two neighbourhood playgrounds with new equipment in 2022, a Public Information Session is being held on June 1 at 7 p.m. at the P & H Centre.
The information session will provide details on the Parks, Recreation and Culture Advisory Committee’s assessment of Hanover’s outdoor parks as approved by council. The new playground equipment designs for Optimist and Kinsmen Ball Parks will be shared publicly for the first time. Staff and committee members will also provide an overview of their ongoing parks objectives work including the preliminary stage for a centre of excellence park development.
The June 1 information session will be a good opportunity for Hanover residents to get an update on park objectives, playground retrofits and view the designs.
Individuals attending the session are reminded that if they are not feeling well on the day of the session, they should not attend.
