Effective February 22, 2021, the Hanover Civic Centre (including Hanover Public Library) and P & H Centre will reopen to the public.
The Civic Centre will be open from 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Monday – Friday. No weekends. The Town’s administrative offices will be open from 10:00 a.m.– 4:30 p.m. for service, i.e., general inquiries, paying invoices, bag tags, etc.Visitors/contractors wishing to meet with staff or perform work will be required to make an appointment. Pre-screening, as per COVID-19 requirements, will be required. All public entering the building will be required to wear a mask at all times unless exempt under O. Reg. 364/20.
Hanover Public Library’s reopening plan and hours of operations will be within the 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Monday – Friday timeframe. The reopening plan requires that all activity with library patrons will occur within the library vestibule and not in the corridor of the building. Most services require an appointment, please call ahead. Please watch for additional information and notices to the public or visit hanoverlibrary.ca.
The P & H Centre is also an important aspect of the health and mental well-being of our residents and visitors. On February 22, the Centre will re-open its doors for pool and walking track use.
