TOWN OF HANOVER – The Town of Hanover’s first priority continues to be the health and safety of our residents, staff, and the visitors to our community. The Town continues to work closely with the Grey Bruce Health Unit, Hanover Hospital, health professionals in Grey and Bruce County and our neighbouring municipalities to monitor and respond accordingly to the COVID-19 situation.

Municipal facilities are closed to the public until further notice. The situation continues to be assessed daily and other decisions will be made as necessary.

Municipal essential services, including police and fire services, road maintenance, water, wastewater, waste management, cemetery operations, and building inspections will continue as scheduled.

Payments can continue to be made to the Town through on-line banking, mail and by using the drop-off box located adjacent to the main doors of the Civic Centre.

Public tenders and request for proposals that are currently advertised will continue to be opened at their scheduled times.

Staff will continue to answer the phones during regular hours to provide information, maintain reference services and provide support for library online services. For further information about municipal operations and the COVID-19 situation, please visit our website at www.hanover.ca and watch our social media posts.
