The Hanover Chamber of Commerce has been representing the businesses of Hanover and area since 1955 and continues to play an active role in promoting business and addressing the concerns of the business community of Hanover. Christmas Luncheon Social: Our Feature event of the year is our annual Christmas Luncheon Social. This Community Recognition Event includes the "Top 10", a prized list by the Mayor noting milestones in Hanover during the year. The Christmas Luncheon is a catered event in early December, and proudly sponsored by the Town of Hanover. Hoping by December the Covid Cloud will clear.
Hanover Chamber Award Presentations Under the Stars: annoucing the 2021 winners . . . Hanover Citizen of the Year: Brian McMann ~ Lifetime Achievement for Community Service: Faye Moore ~ Not For Profit Excellence: Hanover Community Players ~ Young Entrepreneur Award: RJ Taylor, Springhills Fish ~ Business Innovator/Environmental Award: Hanover Honda. Also Celebrating 3 Youth Citizen Nominees: Brooklyn Doersam, Chas Nuhn and Kelice Morgan Ranger, with the winner revealed on the big screen. Our pre-recorded "Award Presentations Under the Stars" will be a feature at the Hanover Drive-In Theatre on Thursday August 11, 2022, followed by two movies: "DC League of Super Pets" and "Elvis". This event is open to the public, with tickets $12/adult purchased at the Box Office beginning at 7:30pm. Showtime is 8:45pm, concession will be open, and cash is preferred.

Hanover Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting: Our AGM was held on Wednesday March 23, 2022 over Zoom, reviewing 2021 Financial Statements, Chamber Executive Vote 22-23, with updates and plans for 2022. Mayor Sue Paterson joined the AGM with an Address From The Mayor.

2022 Promo Opportunities: The Chamber and DIA supports the annual Hanover EDC Summer Radio Promo. Our Annual Chamber Golf Tournament offers a day of networking on the greens and many sponsorships. Our Annual Trick or Treat Trail celebrates Halloween each year in a big way. A Springtime Shop & Win, and our annual Christmas Holiday Shop & Win promotes Supporting Local. Members are invited to share sales, specials, an open house, introductions to employees or product lines, etc., with the members through Monthly Member Posts in our Chamber E-Blasts.
Springtime Shop & Win: The 2nd Annual Promotion features 72 participating businesses, announcing that Hanover Is Open For Business and celebrating customer loyalty, running April 4 to April 29, 2022, with 72 chances to win from Chamber & DIA businesses. Each business will have a Gift + $60 S&W Dollars as a prize. A total of $4,320 in Shop & Win Dollars will be redeemed at participating businesses in May! Hanover's Holiday Shop & Win: The very successful annual promotion runs for four weeks, with 71 participating businesses. A total of $4,260 Holiday Dollars and 71 Gift Items were distributed, and we look forward to the 2022 promotion and our 10th Annual thank-you to clients and customers for their continued support.
Events: Meetings have resumed, with Member invitations to monthly events such as Luncheon and Breakfast Meetings, Speaker Events and our Annual Road Trip. Chamber Members are invited to host 'Business After 5 Socials' featuring a facility tour and refreshments while highlighting their business. Golf: our Annual Chamber Tournament in September brings members out for some serious networking, with teams signing up last September as they packed up their golf clubs! Meet the Candidates, featuring Hanover's Municipal Election candidates ... more to follow. With at least one event planned per month, there is something for every Chamber Member and their guests. Hanover Chamber Bucks: We are pleased to offer this program, keeping more than $204,000. to-date in circulating between 60 participating Chamber members.
