Hanover has commenced a Strategic Plan process to confirm our priorities for this term of council to 2027. Linton Consulting Services Inc. has been engaged by the Town to complete the strategic plan.
Hanover is a progressive and vibrant community, committed to providing a great quality of life and services to our residents and visitors. Once completed, the Strategic Plan will support the Town's vision and will help identify Town and community priorities for strengthening our position as a progressive and vibrant community. The Strategic Plan will articulate the importance of the municipal planning process, particularly by establishing opportunities with detailed key Town plans and goals for the future. The resulting Strategic Plan will be instrumental in helping Town respond to opportunities in the economy and for the betterment of the community and organization.
Hanover's first Strategic Plan was adopted in 2010. Subsequent strategic plan reviews and updates occurred in 2015 and 2019. The 2019 revised Strategic Plan included a re-confirmation of our vision, corporate values, valued features of our community, as well as, detailed four strategic directions and goals with prioritized recommended actions. Council and staff completed many of the actions during the 2018 to 2022 term of Council.
